Verse and Vision: An Evening of Art-Inspired Poetry

Verse and Vision: An Evening of Art-Inspired Poetry takes place on Wednesday, April 16 at the Lowe Art Museum at The University of Miami. This special event celebrating National Poetry Month invites visitors to explore the museum's galleries while listening to original poems crafted by University of Miami MFA students in response to the diverse collection on display.

The evening offers an opportunity to witness how one art form can illuminate another, as these young poets share their interpretations of visual masterpieces through carefully crafted verse. Attendees will move through the exhibition spaces, experiencing familiar artworks through new perspectives as the poets reveal connections and insights that might otherwise remain unnoticed.
